Honorary Ageless Hero:
A distinguished Arizona community leader who embodies the spirit of the Ageless Heroes Program. Past recipients have included Rose Mofford, the late Polly Rosenbaum, Pat McMahon, Joe Garagiola, Bill Shover, Herman Chanen, Jean Williams and Hugh and Ruth Downs.

For nearly five decades, Yvonne Fedderson has devoted her life to helping children in need. As Childhelp co-founder and president, Fedderson is active in the daily operations of the organization and is responsible for developing and supporting Childhelp's more than 25 chapters and auxiliaries.

Among Yvonne's more than 100 honors and awards for her service to children, she has received the National Children's Alliance's Champions of Children Award; the State of California's Legislature's Woman of the World Award; the Sandra Day O'Connor Award; the Kiwanis World Service Medal; and the Women's International Center's Living Legacy Award.

Yvonne and Childhelp co-founder Sara O'Meara have recently been nominated for the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize, which is the third time they have received the high honor.

Yvonne has been active in a number of humanitarian organizations including the Assistance League and the Mary and Joseph League, as well as several professional organizations. She also served on the board of directors of Children to Children, Inc., and is an honorary board member of The Dyslexia Foundation. She is also a member of Charter 100 and the Angels of the Arizona Foundation for Women.

Since 1994, Yvonne has also served as president and CEO of her late husband's company, Don Fedderson Productions. In that role she manages the rights of the television programs he produced, including "Family Affair," "My Three Sons," and "The Betty White Show." She has served on the company's board of directors for more than 30 years.
