The Ageless Heroes Program was created to recognize that being a senior is as triumphant as any time to be alive.

Honorary Ageless Hero: A distinguished Arizona community leader who embodies the spirit of the Ageless Heroes Program. Past recipients have included Rose Mofford, the late Polly Rosenbaum, Pat McMahon, Joe Garagiola, Bill Shover, Herman Chanen, Jean Williams and Hugh and Ruth Downs.

	Community Partner: Arizona Senior Olympics The Ageless Heroes Community Partner award was started this year to recognize a distinguished Arizona community organization that supports Arizona's Ageless Heroes.

	Against the Odds: James Pence Able to overcome all obstacles, whether a disability, illness or hardship, and uses this experience to inspire others

	Champion for Health: Robert Wesche, M.D. Works to improve the health of others through advocacy, outreach and education efforts

	Community Involvement: Anita Van Boerum Shows strength in commitment to a community and its individuals

	Creative Expressions: Lindsay Lafford, Lord of Ridley Demonstrates unique expressions of artistic talent

	Love of Learning: Berenice Fenn Pursues or shares knowledge gained through study or experience

	Vigor and Vitality: William "Rocky" Hill Able to perform agile feats, both mental and physical
